The Invitation

Four nights away. One unforgettable camp.

Kingdom Camp is the highlight of the DC Youth year. Four nights at Bornhoffen in the Numinbah Valley, packed with adventure, worship, real friendships and space to encounter God. It is where students step out of the everyday and into something bigger, and come home changed. This year we are exploring what it means that His Kingdom is where we truly belong.

For Parents

Questions, answered

What does a typical day look like?
Mornings start with breakfast, a morning session and small group time. After lunch it's Tribal Wars and activities. Evenings bring dinner, the night session, night activities and supper before bed.
Is my child safe at camp?
Yes. Camp is supervised the entire time by our DC Camp Team, made up of youth leaders and church members who all hold blue cards. Our team runs the activities and looks after the group throughout camp. You will be given leader contact details before camp.
What does the $250 cover?
Everything: accommodation, all meals, all activities, and transport to and from the venue. There are no hidden extras. If cost is a barrier, sponsorships are available, just reach out to us privately.
How does my child get there?
Transport to and from Bornhoffen is included and organised through DC Youth. Everyone travels together by bus, with drop-off and pickup both at DC Church, 3 Chisholm Rd, Carrara. Exact times will be sent to you closer to camp.
What if my child has allergies or medication?
As part of registration you will complete a medical and consent form covering allergies, medications and any conditions we need to know about. Our leaders manage this carefully throughout camp.
My child doesn't know anyone. Can they still come?
Absolutely. Camp is one of the easiest places to make friends fast, everyone is in the same boat and our leaders make sure no one is left out. Many students come not knowing anyone and leave with a whole new crew.
What is Tribal Wars?
Tribal Wars is the ongoing team competition that runs throughout camp. Every camper is placed in a tribe, and tribes go head to head in games and challenges all camp long. You will be contacted with your child's tribe before camp, so you can grab some clothing and accessories in their tribe colours to get them kitted out.
What should they pack?
A full packing list will be sent to you closer to camp. Think clothes for the camp, weather-appropriate gear, toiletries, a water bottle and sleeping gear. Everything else is covered.
When do I need to register by?
Registration closes on 21 September. Registration and payment are completed through the button on this page.
